The slut-shaming and misogyny in this thread is 🤮 Y'all are blaming the first year girls instead of the senior guys???
I know such girls too. My own friend dated a senior guy who looked like an Indian Obama because he would help with internships.
A girl from my batch had said in her informal (NOT) ragging session that she would only date a senior guy as it would also help her in guidance for her career. She switched 4 seniors in her 5-year course (all of them had cars with them at college).

Why contested? Should I share the links, including several testimonials on Medium.com? Why are comments against NALSAR and NUJS allowed but not NLSIU? It reinforces the perception that LI mods are sensitive to any criticism of NLSIU.
Meri school me kisi ne ladki ko. Kiss kar diya tha aise hi situation me
Let's not forget NLSIU and NLUD. Male students from both have bee named and shamed on social media for sexual harassment and assault of girl students. One of these colleges also once got banned by St Stephen's from participating in debates, for this reason.
what kind of self respecting person gets into that transactional a relationship though?
Very common, to the point I've seen LL.M, PhD, even young assistant professors preying on freshers. Seen a 30 year old LLM asking a 18 year old 2nd year out.

The other way exists as well. Fresher girls give unnecessary attention to senior boys and get their projects and assignments done.
Pyar aandha hota hai pagli predatory nahi.

Selfless love.
Yes, it's so pathetic.

In our college they have to put out mails that fresher dates don't mean u actually date them so many people continue to message lewd things. When the girls reject them they are slutshamed.
Very true. It's defo very clear. I was once just beggining to date a 1st year as a 3rd year and she was constantly in contact with 5th year guys offering her all sorts of "advice" and one called her to his room even when he saw us together.
It's very common, but it's not "predatory" per se. Have seen girls switch from senior to senior every month.
