I’ve seen that a small proportion of Jewish people settled in the West Bank many years ago and those settlements have now stopped. That they left Gaza with their dead. When Palestinians are accused of murdering and stabbing Israelis they are detained by Israeli security. And the IDF has detained people in Hamas. I can from all my googling not find this massacre that was happening before October 6/7. Displacement is not a massacre. Individuals in Hamas or who have been accused of killing Israelis being detained and convicted is not murder. Warfare that israel did not provoke is not a massacre simply because israel wins. Would your sympathies completely shift if israel had lost every war it fought ? Are you simply about defending who you perceive as the underdog ? Invoking WW2 parallels is common and misguided argument. Nearly all modern international humanitarian law was articulated after WW2 (eg, 1949 Geneva Conventions; 1998 Rome Statute), some specifically to prevent the kind of war waged in WW2. In fact, many criticised the Allies for wanton bombing and civilian casualties during WW2 (eg, the Dresden bombing). I'd say comparing Israel's actions to WW2-like warfare shows how extreme they are.

I am studying at at t1 nlu and almost everyone has some random opinion on this issue. I do not understand why or how it is related in Indian context. Personally, I think it is just another religious land conflict but gets a disproportionate amount of attention by both the left and the right.
