This year was trying to get a sabbatical year in my T2 NLU, looked at a lot of options. No way out. Is this the same in all NLUs? a sabbatical is common in all western colleges, but here it seems like a career suicide

There is a guy from Korea in NLS who had gone on a break for 2-3 years and has come back again this year to resume his course. I don't know whether this will affect his career or not but just wanted to let you know that this happens.
