Hi, got an internship at JSA for July, would appreciate if someone could give what team from the following three would be the better choice 1) M&A 2) Corp Comm. 3) Private Equity. My current internship is at a smaller firm which does a little bit of all the above through a single partner. I would prefer the practice area where I would actually get to learn the most and possibly interact with the Partner as well.
Also, there is an option for "Late Night Latest" in their form, any insights into what time I should fill in there (also if would that really make a difference), thanks!
Can you please share how did you get that internship? because I have been applying for JSA internship for quite a while but so far I haven't heard from them.
Does it ever give internship to people without reference or contact? I have applied 7-8 months in advance and still no luck. How to get through to these people.
False. Iβm from NLUD and got an internship there. And I know folks from NLUJ who did as well. In fact, thereβs hardly many NALSAR or NUJS folks I ran into who had interned there.
It's slightly more complicated than that. I'm at JSA and I'm struggling to switch because no other firm can pay as much simply because I'm in a team with a decent client base and my 8% is great. If you're stuck in a shitty team, then yeah, base isn't great.
