I came from middle class family myself and retain its values, even though income-wise I may be considered upper middle class now. Those very values forbid me to vote for BJP. Your future and values are clearly different.

Yes, of all the NLUs, only NLUD has hope left in that regard now, with no domicile quota, lots of funding, the best quality faculty and brighter students through AILET instead of CLAT.

Yeah, national universities (even the relatively newer ones) are much higher in the pecking order. State universities are destined to be mediocre or lower for various reasons.

Most people will get covered by the extended reservation + EWS. So it won't make too much difference

Certainly yes! But more worrying is if other states follow, in their desperation to defeat Modi. That will shrink the merit seats in each NLU to just 10 or 15.
