As proposed in Bihar, 65% will be reserved for lower castes, and 10% for EWS. Now, couple that with 30% domicile across categories. Out of 25% general seats, 30% will go to bihar domiciled which means 17.5% unreserved seats. So if batch size is 120, unreserved seats will be 21. How does that sound?
However i agree with jitni abadi utna haq, as long as it translates into separate electorate for everyone. Aakhir every community need to elect their own leaders. Thats where it will lead to eventually, so always trade with caution. There will be hard rigid group identity, in antithesis to modern democracy, at whose core lies individualism.
Hard structured identity will be a stepping stone for another partition like tragedy or blood violence which this nation has evern seen. But i am looking forward to it. Upper caste's future doesnt lie in coexistence.
