We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.

- "I become kind of jealous" - you seem like the controlling guy. Don't want him but won't let him go with anyone else (cause of the things he does for you). It is very plausible that this stems from your own issues (nobody did anything for you while growing up and now that is happening, you want it)
- If you don't find him physically attractive and are holding on to him for his gestures, then you are simply leading him on. I suggest either grow over your insecurities of wanting to date a guy who is "conventionally attractive" (whatever that is supposed to mean) OR be honest with him and end things.
