We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.
Note that what you find here is written and moderated by anonymous people on the internet.
Therefore everything you read here is very likely unverified, rumour, speculation and/or downright false.
In continuing to read anything here, you must therefore agree not to take anything you read here as factual and that you will exercise due caution, diligence and common sense before acting on any information you may come across here.
You also agree to report any inaccurate or malicious comments with the buttons. Moderators take action within 24 hours, as required and appropriate under law.
Our full terms and conditions apply too.
Do you solemnly agree to all of the above?
1. LI needs to be a news site again, as Bar & Bench/LiveLaw are stooges of the establishment and deep state who will ignore controversial news like corruption in law schools, corruption in the BCI etc. They also never did activist journalism like you, e.g. leaking documents. Please hand over LI to a group of NLU students/alumni who can make it a crowdsourced whistleblower news website like WikiLeaks. We will be happy to give donations.
2. Please replace the moderator with someone unbiased and non-woke. The current moderator is biased in favour of NLSIU and the left-liberal elite. He does not believe in free speech and randomly censors comments.
We don't intend to close down LI and have no intention of ever shutting down the archives. If there are financial difficulties in future in maintaining the archives or paying the bills, we will let you know and will be grateful for all your help, of course, thank you very much for offering.
Hope you are well and happy!
Kian
Any comments from Kians for keeping Legally India alive?
Many of Corporate lawyers would be happy this platform alive so that our juniors can also see how this profession evolved.
Is Kian really seeing this website? Why is he not telling anything.
I had been here around 2013, it was a much different place back then
Please don't crash this website π
I am an old timer, I come here just to know what my juniors talk. I still remember Legally India in 2011, before making Partner at a law firm commenting and laughing out loud.
We could launch a project to preserve this website.
@Moderator - Please show threads like this to Kian.
Will LI just come crashing down one day as kian cannot keep up to pay server and moderator money.
What can we do to preserve this website? Can we take some initiative to archive legally india? LI existing in the long run is even beneficial for researchers and even upcoming generations to know how law firms were back in the day.
