Was NLUJ too ambitious by having their day 0 before NLS? Even top rankers are finding it difficult to get an offer. Also Cam has ditched their day 0 and will be coming for day 1. High time for student led recruitment committees to be abolished.
There is a hiring freeze. We can't do much if firms are not willing to hire.
NLUJ's RICC has been instrumental in getting opportunities of internship to most of the students across the batches. It's because of that committee and it's collaboration with the firms that the students are placed effectively at various firms. Please do not spread false news. We students have witnessed their work and can claim without a shread of doubt that the committee puts in its best effort to get the students placed. Moreover, it's headed by the most diligent students of the college. Please refrain from starting a fight without cause.
Literally no one would agree to that. Speak for yourself instead of writing โ€œwe studentsโ€. Also, I could easily tell from the language used that youโ€™re the certain person who has already received a PPO and is friends with the RAC convenor. Please refrain from pushing such biased and one-sided narratives.
CAM PPOs for NLUJ-23 were revoked? Or are you referring to the "unsubstantiated" JGLS news?
Its all CAMs fault, frankly it is their unprofessional miss to the placements but others will suffer. I am starting to think this is a firm from hell
I think the Day Z at NUJS has also vindicated NLUJ's RICC, it's not a college problem but just a manifestation of a grim market sentiment - similar to March, 2020 levels
Nluj reaching to new lows. They are โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ that they have postponed their day 0 process for Cam, while in reality day 0 is over and what is happening is them requesting the students to not speak openly about their placement offers, so that they can facilitate the placement of rejected students by giving them false ranks. May not be a 4th/5th year law student to understand the dynamics of day 0, but old enough to realize โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ

Am happy to be corrected if someone can provide concrete evidence to refute it.
And pray tell how exactly? Cam at least showed up in Nujs. Stop justifying โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ.
No, it didn't. There have been plenty of offers and PPOs. Less than the usual blockbuster years like 2021 and 2022, but still a lot.
Total crash - only 15 offers. The condition is so bad that the uni is only including PPOs from now on
Ours folks did tell them to toe the line and go after us, but alas.
Hi! As a person who has been part of the placement drive my two cents are- it is not a college issue but it most definitely is a committee issue. Since the members have not seen a Day-Z before Covid they lacked strategy and management.

It would have been easily anticipated looking at the PPOs the class of 2024 received and should have strategised accordingly. Looking at the hiring freeze and the overall recruitment climate it would have been a prudent move to schedule Day-Z post NLS and should have approached alternate firms.
How did they not see any Day Zero before pandemic? Are they studying in a 3 year law programme?
NLUJ should have conducted day zero after NLS/Nalsar

Why did they all of a sudden go ahead with the decision? Any idea?
As someone who was consistently amongst the top rankers, I am deeply hurt and ashamed by the conduct of this RICC. Stop censoring people in the batch group. Have the guts to have a candid discussion and give us a coherent reasoning as to why Cam didn't come to our college, like it did for other Nlus, like NLS, NALSAR, etc.

You have single handedly reduced our college to the level of a tier 2 college. Shame!
Genuine Query:

Is the RICC actually going to put โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ whenever they decide to come to the campus, with stuff like they postponed their day 0 because of them?

Do you all not know that the HRs also coordinate amongst themselves about placements? And if so, then please for the love of God, stop spreading lies and rumors.
LI is censoring comments, even those without any abuses or personal attacks. Very unfortunate. Does the mod have any connections with NLUJ?
Spectacular placement results at NLUJ. A grand total of 27 students (with a few without RICC connections) got placed in different firms and companies, as associates and in house.

Truly NLS level placement statistics, except for the fact that twice as many people say for placements at NLUJ, but who cares. Please donโ€™t call out the RICC xoxo

Correct, anyone who has seen the excel sheet of schedules knows this is true

@Mod please mark it as serious. People need to know what happened in nluj
They can hide, but any one โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ can see the โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ they have done. And yes of course, they would want to censure it because that's how the RICC members are going to pat on each others back for getting a recording breaking 25 fucking day zero placements from an established nlu.

I am sure they would be so proud of themselves after ruining their very own day zero.

Stop censoring people on the batch group! Just stop it. It's getting embarrassing. Also, to those who were lucky enough to get jobs, either through ranks or through external support, please keep quiet. We know you got jobs and are proud of it, but please stop rubbing it in faces of those who had worked much harder but saw their jobs getting snatched from them on account of criminal incompetence and mismanagement.

Just please stop. It's sickening.

I'm currently an an associate at an T1 from an non-NLU who worked hard to get here so I'll ignore those snooty comments. I didn't read selectively. Just because you are a "topper" and have decent "corp internships" doesn't mean you have to be hired.

What matters is the knowledge you demonstrate in your interview and your ability to be humble and learn. An student with good Tier 2 internships who has a good grasp of the basics can get hired over someone with just cursory Tier 1 experience .The value of marks depend on the quality of questions and the syllabus.

Again it's not your fault, the hype given to "toppers" during law school ensure most become complacent thinking academia will impress potential recruiters. This is a misconceived notion. Please introspect and all the best! )
After core introspection we have come to his humble idea that toppers are infact placed well. So no I wonโ€™t take advice from you

Why would anyone want to sabotage your placements, when greats like the RICC gang already exist.
