Often. The first call after application may take at least 5 months. If you keep tabs on the references that you have provided, you may be able to know whether your application is being taken seriously, since they will get a call for background check.

But generally it's over 1-2 months for getting done with everything, considering that they have a long selection and shortlisting criteria.
