There have been talks of starting a special position for a campus placement officer at NLSIU. A perfect move considering that the increase in batch size will need a special officer for internships and placements. How has GNLU changed after they started a similar role?
Also the presence of the 3-year LLB program. They will surely place 10-20/120 students in the year 27/28
GNLU has a similar batch size and NLSIU will surely beat GNLU in terms of the percentage of the batch placed. So, an average student at NLS should be fine. The people in the lowest 25% that will be placed in a very low package or will remain unemployed.
It is going to affect. And yes there is a difference between the first 500-600. The top 1-150 is a different band and one has to admit it. I myself ranked around 500ish this year . Giving clat again for nlsiu.
Your own answer showed that there's no difference. If you score a below 100 rank in your second attempt and join NLSIU next year, will it mean that all of a sudden in a year, you've transformed into a better law student or future lawyer?
Yeah, a hard-working guy would be preferred over a lazy NLS guy but what about a hard-working GNLU student v an average NLS student?
Now compare a hardworking Gnlu guy with a hardworking nlsiu student - you will notice the considerable difference , nls wins there by a huge margin
Class 10 and 12 exams mean nothing. Please don't base your self confidence and self esteem on these.
As a member of batch '28, I'm concerned and would like some input from seniors on what sort of impact is expected.
Nlsiu badly needs one . Noojies have been falsely portraying themselves to be the best . It’s time to show who is really the Harvard of the East ❀️
Placement officers have worked well for Jindal and GNLU. The main advantage is that it removes biases from members of the CRC. We all know the corruption and politics that goes on: fudging data, spreading fake news, favouring boyfriends/girlfriends etc.
Currently, everyone who participates in the university round of ADR/moot/debate gets to represent the university in a decent competition but yeah, participating in reputed moots/ADR will become difficult but it doesn't add much value to your CV anyway.
Welcome to CHRIST Bangalore xD we have a large batch strength
U people must get roasted black and blue by nlsiu students
