From an institution which only took in 60 students each year to a rapid four times expansion, it's bound to impact not just the quality of the batch but also the placements.
Basically, the RCC will expand its network and include more number of firms who are not in the Big 7 but pays similar to the T-1s
For example, if 50 students sit for placement at NLS and 40 students are picked up by 8-9 firms, good boutique or T-2 firms won't come for those last 10 students but in 2027/28 when 120-150 students will sit for placement, those 8-9 firms will probably pick up around 50-55 students which will leave out a huge number of students who are employable and have a decent CV. The boutique or T-2 firms will then come in and fetch the rest.
Yes, not all students will get hired. Some of the students will not receive any offers but as long as you are an average student, it should not be difficult to grab a high-paying job.
True, and an excellent response that many don't want to accept. Another data point is rank in the civil services exam has zero correlation to becoming an effective IAS officer. This has been proven time and again.
