Mosquito nets mane jo window pe net lagti hai woh wali net
Agree with almost everything, though the unstable Internet preventing students from doing quality research made me go ROFL! For student research projects, phone data is more than enough, nor have 90% students done any quality research at this place in the last 7-8 years.
Not everyone's father has so much money that they can spend it on buying so much data have some shame, I myself get only 1G daily, a book online is some double digit MBs. It is something which the college is expected to give us regardless of whether or not we can afford it.
Actually the day z figure was not 33 and it was much more than that. In fact both day z numbers and number of PPOs were almost same. And both the dayz and PPO numbers individually are best till date for NUJS
NUJS is BAAP of Placements and will remain ever. Big infrastructure hardly effect life of any student who studies at NLU , but placements effect and can change course of his life.
@moderator why is this answer in the preview of the result of the website
What do you mean exactly? In Google search results or on the homepage?
Its always been tough, thats one of the main reasons why NLU still has some brand value, because it ain't easy to complete it, the faculty is used to some really good answers and they grade according to what they have been used to correcting.
Your relative standing in the batch isn't the teacher's concern. A teacher should mark based on how far your perfomance measures based on what they have taught in class and given you to read.
What makes you say he is the only Chancellor who caresabout Indian legal education?
Yet all the NLUJ faculty keep trying to get into NUJS.
The sole reason they want to shift is because of the location.

Kolkata is a better city when compared to Jodhpur, in every other aspect NLUJ is better then NUJS
Not at all. Every single faculty at NLUJ is on contract. In addition, PPS runs a dictatorship there, the brunt of which the faculty and students have to bear. Other than infra expenses, there's no parameter on which NLUJ is ahead of NUJS. It never was.
Have removed contested tag for now, though closing statements are still a bit too much of a sweeping generalisation
What has Chandrachud ever done to benefit legal education in India to merit such trust?
I also met a girl who said that she qualified for NLSIU but left for NUJS after taking one look at the past placement records of NLSIU
Hang on... weren't all you people posting on LI saying you support his (completely non-transparent) appointment as VC instead of VC Vivekanandan?
Once again, the VCV fan makes his appearance. Dude, he hasn't done anything amazing or even unusual at HNLU so far. Let him prove himself there at least before you start singing his paeans everywhere.
Running HNLU isn't an easy task tbh, it's a political sinkhole. He's done a decent job of keeping the university afloat despite all the red tapism
no he hasn't. he shirks of responsibility by claiming nothing is in his power. HNLUites can confirm
Starting yesterday, the SBA is on protest at HNLU for very basic demands. VCV has been completely inefficient in tackling any administrative issues.
Shut up! The protest is against the proctor not VCV.
This is utterly false. Nothing of that sort is happening at HNLU.
Haaan? Sachi? Go check SBA, HNLU page on Instagram/Facebook. They've outlined everything from the problems to the cause of the protest and demands there.
If you have got so many grievances against the SJA, why do you allow the presidents to get elected unopposed every year?
Glad that we kicked one of them out by forcing him/her to resign.
Hi,
Any reference to Bablu, Shablu, Chintu, Pintu, King Maker, Kaleen Bhaiya, Bhaiya Bhaiya, ffsff Bhaiya fdfdf Bhaiya, Bhaiyaas, President, VP, Bhaiya, Bhaiya, Bhaiya Bhaiyaaa, 4th Floor Ki SarKaar, BH Raj, Netaji, Loud Speaker wali sarkaar are not unintentional
The ex-governor is new Vice President of India
Yes, that was truly a shameful thing for the college. The same woke lobby tries to politicise SJA elections by slandering candidates as "fascist" etc.
The students of NUJS deserve all the blame for not electing correct office bearers in SJA. All they care is issues like religion, caste and not competency. The better candidate lost elections due to conspiracy and mudslinging. NUJS deserves to be name and shame.
Agreed with it. I am from Batch of 2026, our entire batch swayed at last moment due to a GB email which proved to be a political stunt to win elections
why can't you take a clod water shower?? the japans are standing at the border in minus degree temperature and you can't even do this? dont behave like one of those woke entitled people.
Stop complaining. You guys have the best placements and best alum base. Everyone aspires to go to nujs
He is just sad after one of his major sources of revenue got dried up after those [...] online courses he used to run leveraging the NUJS name were shut down.
Ramanauj has no leg to stand on. [...] He was taught by people like M.P. Singh & Ramanauj Mukherjee. He is a twitter bully who uses SEO to market his courses. Professors are not supposed to guarantee placements.
This is actually true. The kids at NUJS are quite lackadaisical and seem to show too much entitlement. And kolkata is anyways under immense political pressure.
You seem to be under immense political pressure. Hope you aren't suffering much because of it.
And I thought you have started pulling off an Ajay Bisht and claiming Bengal infra as UP's in ads.
I intend to do this as soon as college reopens and the "new" deadline for fixing hot water is not honoured again. It's time to hold this SJA accountable if all they do is give excuses and not get any work done.
The comments here seem to be from haters with a personal agenda against the current SJA office bearers.
you can have all lovely lovely when you are in power. SJA and their allies are no cleaner.
Buddy this is the best comment on the thread. Let's organise proper protests against this SJA first, followed by the administration.

[...]
There should be a no-confidence motion & impeachment motion passed against the SJA.
But MCS is the only society which matters and is still functional in this joke of a university
Proud of present SJA officerbearer for great placements
This topic has ben created by a rival faction seeking power in the SJA. It's a gang war being dressed up as a grievance.
I assure you I do not want to come into power, also pretty sure that there are so many people other than me who can do the SJA job better. Would like to see someone better and not the present gang.

A sincere request to all my fellow viewers from BO'24 please do yourself a favour and elect the CRC mindfully. Anyone but the present RPC'24 would be infinty times better for the batch. Don't want to see juniors suffer [...]
Absolutely right. the Coordinators of BO 23 and BO 25 have already resigned once. Ab BO 24 ki baari.
THIS IS THE BEST EVER COMMENT. I TOTALLY AGREE, IT'S MY SINCERE REQUEST TO THE WHOLE BATCH, "PLEASE ELECT RESPONSIBLE PEOPLE". APPLY IN LARGE NUMBERS, ESPECIALLY PPO HOLDERS!!!!!
[...] To be very honest,
please elect people who have very good ranks because they will not be hunting for their own jobs at the very least. [...]

Ghanta hoga usse! I dare them to get anything done in this regard!
2 weeks have passed and nothing has happened. As predicted.
When you replace Menon, Chimni and MP Singh with Ishwar Bhatt and NK Chakraborty, NUJS is already gone and become a mediocre college. Nowhere close to NLS, NALSAR or NLU Delhi. But competing with NLU Jodhpur and GNLU now.
NLUD is hardly any better now after RS left. They have got a lot of state funds, that's the only difference.
The opinion of a person who says nluj is a mediocre college should not be counted, to say the least.
You people either boycott classes, or at least write a letter to the CJI and leak it to the press, or STFU and stop whining on LI.

Is it only me or is anyone else getting to see these black marks on multiple posts? Are they indicative of redaction?
Yes, these black boxes are redaction (as [...] was previously). They are part of our new moderation and commenting system, which we hope to launch shortly). If you have a suggestion for other symbols for black marks, let us know. Maybe 🦚🦚🦚
If students are busy fighting deathly wars among themselves like HoD and GoT (House Woke vs House Left vs House Right) then how do you expect any work to get done?
There are so many assumptions and entitlement dripping from these tweets that the genuine points of concern almost get sidelined. ▮▮▮
How is your use of a faculty's insta handle not trollish?
Actual facts are now being censored here I see. So long as the moderator agrees with a comment, the commentator need not provide any proof for anything said, but if they don't, then the comment will be censored as trollish? Wow!
Really dumb comments here. The quality of hostel rooms is directly proportional to the fees you pay. Even a child knows that! Pay Jindal fees and you will get a fabulous hostel.
They have installed 34 CCTV cameras around the uni ??? WTFFF, is it some militarised zone or what?? Also the damaged air conditioning in the library is still not repaired TOT TOT TOT…..What are we doing???
Wasn't there an SJA complaint alleging corruption the last time such expensive equipment purchases were made by the college? I think Kian had published the documents?
Outlawed and Invicta have always been riddled with student ▮▮▮, sponsorship commission etc. They are still taking place every year.
