How does probation period work in Tier 1 firms like Trilegal, CAM, SAM etc? Is there a performance evaluation after the probation period and are people also asked to leave?
You know this T1 firm and I both forgot that i was on probation there. A year after I joined (last week), i jokingly asked HR about whether my probation is over? She didn't get my tone i guess, and looked it up... And guess what, my probation wasn't confirmed... By the next day i had my confirmation letter in hand.
Usually i thought they give a letter confirming position or extending probation. In my case neither was done..
Thankfully it was backdated for me and me and partner had a good laugh.
