Howโ€™s the team in terms of work and work culture and overall? Mentorship, pay and growth?

Do they hire freshers?
1. Rohan has few awards like Forbes which one can pay for
2. Work quality is good, but culture is very servile. Juniors have to worship seniors, seniors worship clients
3..no work like balance
4. Focus is billing billing billing
Juniors are less. It is an inverted pyramid. Associate pool is incompetent. Senior partners are either blindsided or donโ€™t care
This is accurate. Culture is very servile. No space for disagreement. Leadership wants to cultivate yes men who should flatter in the name of visibility. Very โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ โ–ฎโ–ฎโ–ฎ.
True. It is not a gen corp team, it is L&E team.

Most work is on commercial laws or labour laws. TMT work is negligible and majorly of their cash cow client.
Work distribution is based on favouritism.

Only 2 partners out 9 know companies law/ fema

If you are on path to become a GC / go in house - donโ€™t come to this team. They only do commercial laws like consumer protection, legal metrology.
Full team is based on nepotism. If you are ok to work in a biased team, do apply.
They do some really interesting work. Senior guys in the team are generally occupied with work and not approachable. The corporate partner who i think was recently promoted is very good at his work. He is very knowledgeable and is also helpful if are lucky to get hold of him.
True one of the partners knows his stuff. But as an intern, I was mostly staffed working with A1/ A2s and didnโ€™t get to learn much. There is one A1 who monopolises all the interns so it is a bit hard to get work from senior people.
They only have one reliable client and they are milking it. Billing, billing and billing. No quality work at all.
As someone who interned very recently in their team and had same question, no vacancies as of now
I interned there in the first half of 2025. Based on my experience, internship extensions are reserved for those with internal connections in the organization. Itโ€™s best not to expect ay offers. They prefer to hire laterally rather than recruiting from its intern pool.
10:30 to 10 pm. keep sitting until bosses leave to show "respect"
Only if you come to office enough and don't leave by 7.
Nothing about this is true. You can leave the team.
Absolutely agree with the above. Sticks and stones may break oneโ€™s bones, but the incompetent seldom blames the hand that threw them, especially when itโ€™s their own.
The working hours are quite demanding, but this is generally understood prior to applying.
Work hours are manageable. From what I have heard, there are a lot of time leaks due to poor management and inefficiency in the teammates
It depends on who you are. If you are one of the few chosen ones - you can get away with WFH / leave / leaving office early or coming late due to personal work. If you are not well backed / are not a nepo, you will struggle.
Yes, this work is the definition of a Labour team and not GC
AZB Bombay led by very senior SG- avoid joining it.
so whats the verdict? Employment or GC? Should consider or not? whats their market reputation?

As an outsider, this reads like feedback coming from someone who may have struggled to work in fast paced and competitive work environment, and is now framing the team and its dynamics in a negative light.
