I am in my first year of law school. What internships should one do in law school (ie what to do in the first year, second year, etc). Also about publications- are there any recommendations?
Uff. Firstly, focus on building a deep knowledge of subjects. Then think about internships and co-curriculars. Performing well in academics is generally important.
No NO. Forget studies. Focus on internships. Organizing WOKE protests. Then start whining about bad work culture one month into your internship and start venting here. The practice of law isnt about knowledge of the subject no Siree. Its all about everything other than the subject.

Jeez you kids really need to wake up and smell the coffee. Want all the glory but none of the pain.
Hi R,

Would it be possible to keep a link to two databases - one for advice for 1/2nd years, and another for 3rd, 4th, 5th years. That would greatly help reduce the number of repetitive questions being started as separate questions.
Noted. That's a very helpful suggestion. Law school aspirants, 1st 2nd year, 3rd 4th 5th. Does these groupings make sense?

Or like the mod assigns flair like "Featured" or "Facts contested", it can also assign tags and flairs which can be looked up using the search bar. Something like subreddit post moderation rules.
