Hi, I am a 2021 Grad starting out at a Tier 2 firm's disputes team but plan to eventually get into private practice. Want book suggestions that will teach me A-Z of writs, SLPs, civil suits, etc., including drafting (to the extent possible). Please give your recommendations. Thanks in advance!
Mulla's Key to Indian Practice (or whatever the name is, I read it many years ago) is a very nice primer on CPC.
As for writs and SLPs, there are not many good books to be honest. And there's not much to grasp either. Just pick up any commentary and read the sections on Article 32, 226 & 136.
Reading the journal/case reporter of your local HC also helps.
