Generally, most firms like CAM/SAM do not offer PPOs straight after a 1-month internship. If they like the intern and want to possibly recruit him/her in the future, they offer him/her a callback. The intern might come back again to intern with the same team in his/her next vacation and if they again like him/her, they offer a PPO. A callback can be considered as an offer for an Assessment Internship.
