Honestly it’s been a pretty stressful time to be a junior at the firm. A lot of the partners who’ve left were genuinely well-liked, so naturally everyone’s asking “why are people leaving?” but no one really seems to know what’s going on. CS also seems kinda avoidant about the whole thing — the townhall that was supposed to happen in May has been pushed indefinitely, which honestly just makes people more anxious. Even seniors waiting on SA/PA promotions are super stressed and the whole vibe at the office feels very unsettled right now.

Finally the correct question. Congrats for asking such a relevant question. It seems the management operates on a shoot-first-ask-later policy. Don't expect to get any fairness in the process much less logic. Some of the decisions are shocking when one considers that they are infact top lawyers who should stand by a team that they have built up.

The fact is, the decision makers are so swamped with day to day stuff, which they should have delegated to enough people in the system, that they truly lack the bandwidth to be strategic in how they operate.

Please don’t let the age-old adage, “innocent until proven guilty,” be lost on you. While the allegations against this lawyer are indeed damning, they are part of a broader matrimonial dispute. If any of you have practiced in family court for even a day, you would know that leveling such allegations in matrimonial disputes is par for the course.

That pen drive no doubt points to immorality, which can and absolutely should, in my opinion cost a man his marriage and job. But for anything beyond that, he would need to be formally charged and subjected to trial. Only if the charges withstand scrutiny should he be accused of being a molester, pervert, or anything else.

Until then, please cease and desist from speculating.

This is the problem which inevitably accrues when NLU students don't intern at trial courts(at all), holding those experiences to be unworthy, completely.

Allegations may be true, but most of the time it's false.Let's look whether there was a divorce cum DV cum dowry cum violence case filed by the wife; & if yes, then most probably the POCSO case may just be added as an addendum.It's a complete package offered by divorce lawyers.

I've seen boys even alleging(thru mothers) sexual harrasment by fathers, & getting booked under POCSO(it's a very serious law; no bail).

Which top lawyer doesn’t know allegations doesn’t amount to moral turpitude. Our firm would have stood by their employees/partners when people are going through shit and sudden knee jerk reactions

Hi, I'll be joining as an A0 this year and am savvy with using Claude Code to do my work – I wanted to ask if this is officially allowed by the firm or not. As far as I understand there's no breach of confidentiality on the Pro/Max plans, but I assume the firm would still prefer all employees only upload any firm info on Legora. Do you have to hide using Claude from your team/partner? Or are personal AI subscriptions allowed? Or do you use Claude without revealing any information (which in my opinion would make Legora the better option).

Med school was mostly due to fulfil my late father's dream but the ROI there is terrible and the getting into it means getting into the whole exam cycle of things I have always hated.

Law in itself has been fascinating to me more so the public policy and research area , but we all got to make sure that their is food on the table in your initial years, so was asking if age discrimination is a real thing

Those interested in litigation, seeking to grow their own practice in future. Should they go for ADPO exams?

I concern is that it will restrict me to district courts and letting me grow to high courts. What should be done?

Moreover, how does the world reflects on those who work as ADPO, as I've not yet stepped into district court practice (working for last 2 years in supreme court), so I'm not aware about the social construct against ADPO. Do I retain a future in corporate litigation world after being ADPO for a few years maybe?
