NLU Delhi’s 2015 batch saw 44 graduates getting placed out of the 56 who had signed up for campus placements, from a batch of 71. 15 out of 44 accepted offers were from the Big Six law firms and three students accepted offers from international law firms.
The biggest recruiter was AZB, who hired four students, followed by Trilegal (three) and TATA Power (three), while four students have opted to go for private litigation practice. The 44 jobs included five pre-placement offers (PPO).
Of the students who did not participate in the campus placement process, four students have decided to pursue LLM and three students have gone for judicial clerkships.
NLU Delhi’s overall recruitment performance didn’t change much since last year when 45 students had been placed, including 16 in Big Six firms.
In addition to the 44 placed graduates, six more graduates of the 2015 batch have received offers from various firms but are yet to communicate their acceptances.
Domestic Law Firms
17 domestic law firms made for the biggest slice of the recruiter pie, hiring 25 graduates. However, this is a drop from 2014, when 30 students from NLU Delhi went to domestic firms.

NLU Delhi in its press statement commented: ""The recruitment figures this year were beyond our expectations. We succeeded in getting almost the entire recruitment batch placed. This was, of course, supplemented by our students' own efforts. So in that sense, we are happy that our batch continued to build on the good recruiting numbers from the previous year. Moreover, the profiles of all our recruiters was quite diverse this year and this, in our opinion, with us being just the third batch of NLU Delhi was quite encouraging, to say the least. And going by the performance of our 2016 Batch on their day zero, we believe these figures will only continue to grow in future."
"None of this, of course, was a cakewalk. We worked hard and managed to invite some recruiters to our university for the very first time. Our university has been very supportive of us as a committee. We do not face any logistical issues so during the recruitment process itself, we never have had to deal with any last minute issues and we have always been well prepared. There seems to be an upward trend in terms of the job market. And we were fairly confident, right from the start that with the quality of students in our batch and the growing standing of our University at both national and international levels, we would manage to do well. And we have. So, yes. We are quite happy and satisfied with our performance."
"The recruitment coordination committee for the Batch of 2015 consisted of Devika Nayak, Divyanshu Bhatt, Keerthana Medarametla, Pranshu Paul, Somil Kumar and Sucheta Roy."

silly mistakes
Faculty ranking: NLUD>NLSIU>NALSAR
Infrastructure ranking: NLUD>NALSAR>NLSIU
Remember the older IIT is IIT KGP and the oldest IIM is IIMC but they eventually fell behind IITB, IIT, IIMA and IIMB. The same will happen with law schools.
NUJS has SLIGHTLY better placements.the top 50-70% of the batch at NLUD seems to be getting placed with relative ease, despite the college being 3 batches old.
at this point one would say that it is pretty obvious that they have replaced NUJS.
Kian you have said on multiple occasions that NLSIU is the best law school in India and shot down those who have criticised you. Why don't you do an objective comparison based on current trends? If NLSIU is do great how come most of its alumni end up teaching elsewhere?
