Nalsar Hyderabad 2007 graduate Revathi Raghavan has joined Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in London from Allen & Overy, according to her Linked-in profile.
She had joined in April 2019 - our report comes a bit late, but better late than never - and she specialises in regulatory work, particularly in fund formation, investments and EU financial services regulations.
Before joining Kirkland she had been a senior associate at Allen & Overy, where she had worked since 2009.
She has a 2008 LLM from the George Washington University Law School.
She is the latest of several Indian-educated lawyers to have joined partnerships in international firms this year, including:
- Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam’s Joywin Mathew, who made partner at DLA Piper,
- NLSIU Bangalore’s Vivekananda Neelakantan, who joined Allen Gledhill Singapore as a partner,
- NLS’ Manas Chandrashekar who became partner at Latham & Watkins,
- Nalsar’s Manish Aggarwal who made partner at London-global litigation start-up Three Crowns.
