ELP boosts transactional practice with Desai & Diwanji’s homegrown partner Shyam Pandya

Desai & Diwanji partner Shyam Pandya has joined as an associate partner of Economic Laws Practice (ELP) in its corporate, commercial, private equity and venture capital team in Mumbai, according to a press release from the firm.

The GLC Mumbai 2004 graduate had begun has career at Desai & Diwanji, where he became salaried partner with four others in 2013.

ELP managing partner Suhail Nathani commented in the press release: “With clients increasingly building large in house legal teams [...] Shyam’s legal skills and understanding of commercial issues will certainly enhance our offering to our clients.”

Pandya is ELP’s 33rd partner.
