Desai & Diwanji promotes five to salaried partner in Mumbai

Desai & Diwanji has announced the promotion of five associate partners to partner in Mumbai yesterday.

Ketaki Gor, Aneesh Gupte, Siddharth Mody, Shyam Pandya and Natasha Treasurywala were promoted to the firm’s salaried partnership.

Al five are active in corporate, private equity and M&A work with between eight to 10 years of experience each, according to Mumbai partner Monika Deshmukh.

However, Pandya also specialises in capital markets, Gor also does banking and project finance work, and Mody has expertise in the real estate and power sectors.

All graduated from GLC Mumbai.

In January the firm had promoted five to salaried partner in Delhi, shortly after its office head Amit Khansaheb left to join BMR Legal.

Deshmukh declined to confirm the total number of partners at the firm, citing firm policy; a report by consultancy RSG put the number of partners at Desai & Diwanji at 24 at the beginning of the year.
