Maybe you can experiment. But it's you who is taking the risk afterall. And I don't think that it's worth a try to experiment it out, especially when it's only a matter of one month. Though one has to admit that the most important thing at T1 is one's performance and not the dress one is wearing, so dress ka sochne se pehle kaam ka sochna will be more beneficial!
Dude, the internship cycles at T1 runs in all of the 12 months. See, there are a lot of factors that may effect the intake of interns at T1s, e.g., the availability of slots (the most primary factor); intake of new associates or lawyers (this burdens the HR Team and hence, they take less number of interns in such times); the changing dynamics between the partners (pretty crucial but it's not open to general public for analysis). There are multiple other things that effects the internship cycle.

Also, if you are targeting a T1 then you should make yourself more flexible and available because you are not in the power to make the Firm adjust as per your needs rather you are the one who has to adjust if you wish to maximize your chances.

Go ahead and apply for a month which is 5-6 months ahead in the future and plan it accordingly as to avoiding any chances of collision of the internship tenure and examinations in college.

At last, I would say that I am only aware of Khaitan and I know for sure that there are no slots left in the month of June, not even in July AND August. (Got this infor right from a partner)

Now decide as you wish! Peace!!
Can somebody tell me according to their own experience that how many days or weeks it might take for the HR in KCO Delhi to get back to me after the interview for internship? My interview went very well and I strongly expecting to be shortlisted. I am also in touch with the counsel who recommended me to the HR. Though she has told me to be patient and I don't want to poke her every now and then.
I've recently given an interview to intern with the GC team at Khaitan & Co. Delhi. Since it has been more than two weeks this thought has been bugging me and is increasing my anxiety with each passing day. Some people who've previously interned at KCO (Kolkata) told me that they got the confirmation mail within two days of their interview, while some other are saying that it might take a very long time for T1 to process such interviews and also depends upon the location.

I am expecting for people to have different experiences in regards to this. But I want to comprehend an average time by which I can expect hearing back from the HR. Also if somebody gets rejected, in that case, will the candidate be notified accordingly?
