You make me want to go out and dance in the streets. All hope isn't lost!!!
Yeah. It’s mostly people following fads on both ends of the spectrum. If you think you have something new or sensible to say - you should do it and form your own group. Start small - a pub night, a reading group, you never know where it might lead.
You feel lonely because this country isn't for such people as yourself. Leave at the earliest.
Correct advice. Did this five years ago, haven't looked back, never plan to. Best decision in my life!
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Hello Nigel Farage, didn't know you would be wasting your own time on a half dead Indian legal blog, in addition to that of the British electorate.
That ship is sinking. Just wait for Labour to fall and the far right to step in. India is the place to be in the long run. Especially if you decently well heeled.
Absolutely agree. People who believe in meritocracy, individualism and free markets should leave India.
Ah. Another member of the "America-is-the-sinner-in-chief-of-the-world" brigade. Sour grapes much? Tell me: how many LSAT* attempts did you make before your parents refused to fund any additional ones?

*LSAT USA, not LSAT India, which is a joke anyway.
The people on this forum sure love to use ad hominems to feel good about themselves
Ain;t nobody paying a radical left academic parasite for this empty book. Share a free link.
Dehatism is root cause of many problems in the country. Now everyone from the villages are not dehatis. In some parts of the country villages have better civic sense than cities.
Libertarianism in India would mean mass starvation. Not sure which la la land you live in.
Please don't make such wild claims without elaboration. Either substantiate this proposition with facts and figures, application of economic theory to real life and so on, or withdraw it.
What if you only included extremely hot influencers ?
There are virtually no centre-right people left in India. They have all gone abroad and settled there. The ones left in India are the dross: the kind who want endless handouts.
And what exactly have "the founding principles of Indian Democracy" done to help us progress as a country? Look at how many times we have amended our constitution in 75 years compared to what the Americans have done.
Posts that start with "Am I the only one..." are generally, (a) seeking validation, or (b) extremely stupid.
Why don't you respond to the substantive points?
Are they really left wing? Also, any platform for discussions, not just politics, should be welcome. I regret not joining such groups in college.
From what I've seen, much of such bloggers later turn out to be rw or lw. They start as government or the opposition's critique but move one way or the other.
This is what libertarian beliefs in India should hold:

- Taxation is theft

- Reservation is regression

- Regulation is repression
yep, youre the only one. Hopefully you'll remain the only one.
