Am told that law firms have policies of putting people out of the law firm circuit, who get romantically or otherwise interested in their colleagues? Is it true? Are these firms turning into modern day vigilantes on behalf of their family?
Not really. Some have literally slept their way to the top and have now become co-founders with their beaus in new breakout firms.
There are certain law firms where even managing partners have had affairs with others in the top hierarchy of the firm which has in turn led to the marriage of the former falling apart.
Don't shit where you eat, there are enough women/men around for u to do the deed with or fall in love or whatever.
What wild wild world of law firms? Are they law firms or human zoos?
Old AMSS used to encourage it. The policy then was that it encouraged people to stick within the firm.
In my firm, a female SA is involved with both her own PA (turned partner ▮▮▮) and an ▮▮▮ from another team who left.
In the past Trilegal and JSA had an unspoken prohibition on couples in same team. These firms are meritocratic and non family run.

AMSS and successors CAM, SAM has always allowed this.

Not sure that if any official rules are there in any of these offices.
What are you saying. A certain supari loving aunty loves to make matches. Firm mein raho. Firm mein kaam karo.
A tier 11/2 firm bullied harrassed and abused for not liking a women there ! Just lunacy at its peak.
Of course the ▮▮▮ aunty wants to stay there forever.
