The real buzz is further down the list. Lucio quietly snuck into 2nd at 27.5%, ahead of perplexity and harvey which I did not see coming, didn't think they had it in them, ngl. But the shocking part is Harvey. The top 1 global player of legal AI, the one everyone name drops in every VC deck is sitting at a pathetic 7.8% practically tied with LawNet AI, a tool nobody's even heard of.For a company with their funding and hype that's not a rough day, that's an identity crisis. Someone at harvey owes their team an uncomfortable monday standup.
And the kicker, the two "legal native, built for lawyers" platforms (Harvey and LawNet AI) got smoked by general purpose tools like perplexity and pair search that weren't even trying to be legal specific. So much for the specialization pitch.
I am a Harvey girl or at least I was, so this stings a little.
Anyone else seeing this kind of gap between the hype and the actual numbers? I have been loud about this on here before and still don't fully get the room but here we are.
But I'd really like to know how accurate this report is. I myself use Claude, but have to double check everytime it generates a draft for accuracy.
Would you recommend a 1 person team to evaluate some of these platforms?
