Section 16 prohibits making the contents of a POSH complaint/inquiry, identities of the parties and witnesses, recommendations, and action taken publicly or otherwise communicating them contrary to the Act.
its crazy how defensive this guy is, disclosing the truth about the molester is contrary to the act?
really shows how duplicitous the OP to this comment was, the proviso to the Section clearly does not protect abusers or the final decision of the ICC.
go ahead and inform them, my college had a similar case, a guy who was expelled from an NLU during me too movement, came back to first year ( he was in final when he was expelled) and had his ppo cancelled after college had complained.

Vile guy.
Very similar case in my college too. Was the person in your case removed from an NLU in ▮▮▮ and then went on to study somewhere in Bombay?
Yes go ahead with it. I remember a senior from my college had his TC cancelled after a POSH complaint and his batchmates informed that magic circle firm via email or something
Good grief! If only I knew you and we were offline, and not on this platform which is a real life version of Orwell's 'Nineteen Eighty-Four', I would ask you more about the details of this - which uni, which firm.
Assuming you're from Justice City and we're thinking of the same person, HSF isn't magic circle. And it made little difference at the end because the man in question is working in London now.
Yes, I think HR should be informed. They can decide themselves if you hire that person or not.
