Absolutely. Ppl who r saying NDA picks hv been weird need to take this into account also since they hv only picked for tax which is not smthng that a lot of ppl go for.
So what? They have all the credentials to become a good tax lawyer which is more imp than a cultural fit lol. Keep your ego and useless cgpa in your wardrobe. Tip - if u can't make it, BURN !!!
Yes, when one of them becomes a big name in Tax, they will introduce tax questions in CLAT.
The more interesting part is that the people that they have hired, especially for tax, are not even a culture fit for any group lol
Yeh technicals hote hai lol. This is just elementary knowledge of what tax as a discipline is.
These hires are the next big things in tax. Mark my words.
Yeah they asked me "what is meant by scheduler system of taxation?", "What is the difference between direct and indirect tax?". These were the two technical questions, apart from the regular HR/culture fit questions.
Disagree. They do have quite a lot of technicals in the interview. This is specially for tax, don't know about others.
Ask anyone in NLS and you would know. Everyone in NLS is talking about a few hires.
Their interview rounds don't even have technicals test. It is basically culture fit questions like where do you see yourself in 5 years lol. I wonder why they scrapped asking technical questions starting from 2025.
Couldn't agree more. NDA is the place for those wid no connections and a clean slate. Can easily see why it has hurt a few out there. It genuinely analyses a lot of things before zeroing on a candidate unlike others who just do it rank based.
What kind of picks specifically? I am just curious on how hiring this year has been that surprising.
Shocked that people are still considering NDA. It is basically only freshers now.
Burn as much as you want but the reality is that NDA choses talent over how u speak and how u appear in an interview.

Why is NDA hiring so wildly in the recent past? And is it true that they are offering PPOs to anyone and everyone doing tax (even for the sake of it)? Looking for hiring in ELB and is the work culture that bad?
