This might be one of the best things I've read on Legally India!
He's trying to trap you. Not reasonable hours at all
Banking and Finance - In a nutshell:)

Lender (Kuch clauses hai apni marzi ke, kuch fakt majboori hai),

Borrower (Phir waqt bhi bahut thoda hai)

The counsels in between (Par saare clauses zaroori hai!)
Private client - tax + inheritance and structuring laws + family drama = Simple solutions packaged as life changing strategy because the rich can afford it
Its being taken over by AI. Fresher hiring has become almost nil in cap marks now.
project finance? or something else, what projects, isn't every mandate a project?
Disputes- re-read and reinterpret a contract. Create meaning where none exists.
IPR - Super interesting subject while pauing the lowest of all practice areas.
Can someone please explain why, except for the incumbent government being in the pocket of the two biggest corporate oligarchs?
B&F - 6 hour days or 16 hour days (nothing in between). Fun once you get used to it, life is autopilot
OP this side,

waiting for FSR, B&F, TMT, Corporate, Disputes, Insolvency, etc
Tax – Endless research; constantly changing laws; clients hate paying taxes.
Employment law - a more exciting and fun practice area given the human side of law. Hot right now with the new labour codes
I hear everyone saying this, can someone explain why?
Projects - 12+hours daily, monotonous and boring at times
explain your practice area broadly in upto 10 words strictly.

Eg. Real Estate - Easy entry; 12+ hours daily; fragmented research.
