But also, your knowledge of history is equally poor, which is quite surprising. Look at Russia in the immediate post-Soviet years - before the advent of Vladimir Putin. They operated on the model you described. See how it went. Russia wouldn't be fucked up like it is now if it weren't for that kind of thing.
They still did the best amognst all law schools but tough times definitely. NLS closed at second best with slightly lesser numbers than NUJS but they had 60 more people in their batch
