We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

You call identitarian politics actually useless because your identity has already secured you all the good things in society, for a second think about those identities which are suppressed, identities who have to escape the public eye because one wrong look can mean havoc.
She just rants in courts too.
I like Menaka but damn is this sort of identitarian politics actually useless.
Don't worry about the backlash anon, sensitive people will continue to complain and downvote you.
Hilarious to see the jealous comments criticising her. She is a Rhodes scholar Oxford PhD celebrated all over the world because of her role in the 377 case. She was named in the TIME 100 and a portrait of hers is at Oxford because of her role in that case: which also makes her one of Oxfordโs greatest alumni, because only such people are given the honour of having their portrait at Oxford.
Oh she doesn't engage with widespread problems like shelter and putting food on the table of every Indian. Basically every politician doesn't, but YOU point it out in this case because on some level you just can't stand people who may fundamentally exist in a different way than you. "Useless marker ". Bitch please, let me call your heterosexuality a useless marker and you being a man a useless marker.
She is far from perfect, yes she is very entitled and a nepo kid. Call her out for that sure. Linking her passionate push for "identity" politics to that is ridiculous, bad faith and bigoted. Because by your logic then any minority issue is a useless marker and that's just a sad inhumane pov. Hope these words can get across to you and how your comment is both, unhelpful and actively hurtful.
