What do you mean? You have the institutional email ID of each faculty available on the university website? What more do you need? And why do you need it?

You mean their phone number. That's because students almost always abuse that and causes a hundred different problems. Moreover, faculty shouldn't be 24*7 available.

There is no de-facto rule. Faculties do share their contact with the CRs of the class and with other students (if needed).

Gotta tell you I went through the entirety of law school just having the email IDs of professors. Never needed or wanted more than that!

Because students may spam them and the really demented ones may leak the numbers to spam sites, gambling sites, dating sites etc.
