I am so done with the chase man. 4 years of law school seem to assessed solely by whether one manages to get employed. Worse, I am so clueless about what to do if I don't. Can't skip classes and intern endlessly. Neither do I want to, to only be disappointedly informed about a lack of vacancy in my last week of internship. Years of co-curriculars, decent grades, publications and genuinely thinking maybe I like law, only to be unemployed. Familial responsibilities, peer pressure, the fear of not bagging a corp job when that's what you have looked up to right from your first year when your seniors would flex it - all of it is just getting to me. God, please, just give me a job. I really don't have it in me to keep stressing over it.
I just hope and manifest that after one year I will re-read this comment sitting in an office.
