The new BJP govt has huge plans for the state and will presumably need assistance to make presentations and speeches, plus drafting policies. Any coincidence that Arghya Sengupta is originally from the city? Did Sanjeev Sanyal and Swapan Dasgupta encourage Vidhi/Arghya to set up shop? Any possibility of Arghya himself becoming a minister or advisor or Rajya Sabha MP?

While it’s possible that Arghya could eventually become for Swapan Dasgupta what Prashant Kishor was to Abhishek Banerjee, I think the immediate need for the govt is for an organisation that can help with the following:
- Drafting a UCC for the state
- Drafting policies for eviction of hawkers
- Draft policies for land use and new projects
- Draft pitches for investors
Given that governments in Bengal tend to serve for a long time, and that the TMC is finished, this will be a major revenue source for Vidhi for at least a decade.
