Its huge especially A3 upwards. Sometimes more than the annual salary. A0 - A2 its like any Tier 1. Big downside is they ask people to leave as opposed to giving longer time to settle.

Can you please clarify what do you mean by "any Tier 1" when base pay is 12 LPA? Or are you saying that for A0 - A2, the annual salary including the bonus comes out to be like that in a Tier 1? So bonus for A0 - A2 is like 4-5 LPA on top of the base 12 LPA?

Yes. Infact, for folks putting in real work and taking responsibility ive heard it goes beyond that as well. A college-mate (who was brilliant in his own right back in law school) works in their GIW team and ive only heard great things from him, especially when it comes to the cash.

While I was there I hated the fact that the bonus is paid year long and I only realised subsequently that it was the ethical thing to do rather than dump a bonus end of fy or hold it over your head. At the time I felt it didnt allow me to keep track. If I pulled an all nighter or did a good draft, I got a bonus. Someone told me this was inspired by how Zia did it at AZB. Can vouch for the fact that I made significantly more than my peers at T1 did but my health needed me to move back home and move to a T1's tier 2 city office. I also know batchmates who made just at par with T1 so performance is key, which they say a lot but I didnt take seriously till my intake mate told me her numbers and I knew mine. If I move back to Delhi I would go back.

Any insights of how it works out in their Disputes and International Arbitration team? Is the pay higher in their White Collar vertical or is there parity? I have been selected for an internship and strongly looking forward to convert it, hopefully in disputes if it works out, or White Collar if the pay is higher...can you spill some numbers?

Got this directly from their HR - All teams across the firm is generally very well paying but the WCC pays the highest followed by the corp team followed by the disputes team (who also pay very well and at T1 levels for some people), they have differentiated compensation and bonus structures even at the associate levels. Wcc A0 is about 15 to 20 LPA corporate is around 14-18 LPA and disputes is 13 to 16 LPA

Must be one of the new hr girls who dont know the system. The bands are same for all but vary based on performance. Top performers across teams are in the same band. Poor performers are either asked to leave or get no bonus or no increment or like some luke warm 1-2 lakh bonus.

I am not sure about the salary but the with culture seems to be quite good with minimal horizontal attrition. I interned two years ago and have been following some associates, none of whom have left. And those who did have either to leave law and start a business unrelated to law, or go independent, which makes me think.
