SQE is also like that. It just proves to some hiring managers a positive image. That too if the hiring manger is based out of London or Dubai. These days for Indian roles, hiring managers are based out of India itself.
MAYBE someone will care if you go the whole way and become a fully qualified UK solicitor (as in, not just passed SQE but currently on the Roll of Solicitors and with a valid practicing certificate for the year). But then there's a lot of admin and regulatory stuff you need to think about (for example you probably need to be insured etc and there are regulatory responsibilities etc)
Would employers prioritize this dual-qualification over deep sector-specific experience when hiring for senior in-house positions?
Is this the most effective path to increase my value, or should I focus on different specializations?
