Now I can imagine the toll that a practice like disputes can take on someone. She’s an extremely sensible person and I know this decision is the best for her. But I feel somewhere down the line, I haven’t been the best partner to her in terms of being there for her throughout these years. Don’t get me wrong friends, our relationship is steady and we practically live together (though my gencorp hours are crazy) now I realize I may have done a lot more to take care of her.
she won’t be physically around so much now as she’s from another city. What can I really and practically do to be with her?
Funny how everyone claims to want emotionally available partners but the moment one introspects and tries to become a better partner, they are told to move on. Then the same people spend the next week complaining that “people never care.” Pick a lane.
