I am a 2026 graduate from a good university and have been trying my best to secure a job for the past year.
I sat for a pre-placement offer interview around 4–5 months ago and was rejected. I interviewed for an in-house position through college and was rejected there as well. I sent countless cold emails, managed to land an interview with a Tier-2 law firm, and got rejected again. The frustrating part is that the interview actually went really well.
At this point, I genuinely do not know what else to do. Every rejection makes me feel like I am disappointing myself, my family, and everyone who believed in me. I keep trying different approaches, but nothing seems to be working.
Is anyone else in the same boat? More importantly, which corporate law firms are actually hiring Associate 0s right now?
Any leads, advice, or even shared experiences would be appreciated because I am honestly feeling quite lost.
