I have heard that the students are really working overtime to turn things around and I was wondering if this is true.
As for campus life, NLIU offers a balanced mix of academics, extracurricular activities, sports, cultural events, and student-led initiatives. The campus is green, peaceful, and provides a good environment for both studies and personal growth. There are regular sporting events, cultural fests, moot court competitions, debates, and various student-run committees that keep the campus vibrant throughout the year.
The senior-junior culture is generally friendly and supportive. Seniors often help juniors with academics, internships, moots, placements, and navigating law school life. Like any competitive institution, individual experiences may vary, but overall the atmosphere is collaborative rather than intimidating.
Regarding teaching pedagogy, the focus is on classroom discussions, case-law analysis, research, presentations, projects, and practical legal learning. Students are encouraged to think critically and engage actively rather than rely solely on rote learning.
And yes, there is a genuine sense among many students that they are working hard to strengthen and enhance various aspects of campus life, academics, student activities, and institutional growth. Student-driven initiatives and participation play an important role in shaping the NLIU experience.

I will also tell you to lower down you expectations calling it "T1", placements have to been up to the mark of T1 but yes its better than T2 so somewhere in T1.5.
As far as senior junior relations are concerend you have to call seniors as sir/ma'am. Also some campus area is restricted for first years. Also there are some incidents of extreme ragging every year just hope you don't fall into it.
Students are not working overtime to turn things around lol. They are fighting over how will the rank list be constituted.
Us ? We just want others to have a gloomy picture of NLIU but no actual weight to it.
