Just check the firms which you like to disparage all the time and you will realize.

Also, what is "even more" here?
Too much of prediction for next year :) better to go by what has been done year after year.
Just curious to know which good firms pay 5-6 months or even more bonuses to their sr associates, principals
I don’t know which law firm is this but another law firm has done this. Didn’t pay bonuses and gave bare minimum increments. Almost half the firm has left due to their arbitrary remunerative practices.
I can confirm from reliable sources it is going to be 0.5 and rest based on performance
From what is being told this is the last year it will happen and from next year this will change and numbers will go down

For past many years its being paid over and above the performance bonus and this year too it is on the way post first round of bonus payment in march. Better and safe to go by facts.
yes nobody is surprised because the bonus payments in 2 parts was told to be done in march and july. March was done and july will happen soon. Seems to be straightforward and per commitment.
You must be leaving the firm before july when this additional equity bonus team payout was announced and promised to be made as is related to billing realisations. The last year’s performance bonus was made by march end itself. Sounds decent. Where is the confusion?
I think it is a funds firm acting as a full service firm
It was never asurred. It is your fault you believed it was. There is no assured bonus in the firm
Ask anyone in the firm and no one is surprised. Management talk will come soon
This tier 2 law firm which brands itself for 2.5 months assured bonus and competitor to Tier 1 in a practice area is quietly removing it as it has increased the size but not billing. The transition might be announced at a later period to avoid attrition.
