I think both reasons can be true - from experience of universities in the UK and the phenomenon of Jindal kids over there.
No NLU gets much from the states anyway. Almost all are self funded.
Why are you spamming all LI threads with the same question?
Lol, known but not for the right reasons. Many foreign universities have found it difficult to award degrees to Jindal alumni because of highly shoddy performance.
Educated people shouldn't believe in elitism. And nothing exists that's called meritocracy without privilege.
Yet alumni from those places are doing well all over the world. And they spent much less for their degree.
Staying in a hotel and getting educated are two different things.

BS. NLUs except the top 3 have no standing in the world. Talk to me when the others are in the QS rankings.
NLS cannot even afford to accomodate half it's batch decently while charging 25-30 lakhs. Atleast the private universities give you a decent room.
Absolutely true, NLU students seem to forget...national sirf naam ka hai...all the funds are at the mercy of the state university. And with the way their going, most will immediately slash away the funding to build a new monument if time calls for it.
And it can even afford to provide decent hostel accomodations.
I don't understand why students don't go for technical laws? Why do they run behind those age old civil criminal corporate and tax? Why not tech laws?
With present VC ,NLSIU need to bridge gap with others in future.

Like Jindal captured the market in the last 18 years?
NLSIU has around 195 crores in term deposits, just saying🤷

What do universities require: "managerial competence" or academic rigour? I think the latter is far more important. As for "managerial competence", not suffering fools is, I think, a key component of that.
Once Sudhir is out, they will appoint a state government professor as the next VC. Mark my words. And with the increase in batch size and fees. It's gonna drop. Also private universities with bigger budget and more power are going to capture the market soon.
So this guy who keeps on copy pasting Paul Craig's name in every NLSIU related post like it's a get out of jail for free card isn't trolling, but one who calls him out is? Weird!
Being an exceptionally intelligent academic does not automatically imply managerial competence. Quite an extrapolation for a lawyer
Fair enough. How can institutions that can't even place 50% of their students (NLSIU, NALSAR, and NLUD) be compared to GNLU? We're not even in the same league. Do I now need to share space with the unemployed?
Trolls again.
Look at Ganloo's placements, it's just below NLS NALSAR NUJS, and above NLUJ.

Although GNLU trolls on this website are a nuisance, the college itself is T1 for solid 5-6 years now
He would have put you in your place long back had he been aware of your trolling.
Don't write GNLU along with these T1 NLUs in one sentence.
