Average JGLS student: Rich. IB school product. Chauffer-driven Merc. Girlfriend looks like a model. Holidays in Switzerland. Uncle/family friend is a tier 1 law firm partner who told him a job in the firm is waiting for him after graduation.

Average JGLS hater: Middle class. KV or regular CBSE school product. Travels by auto and bus. No gf. Holidays in Manali and feels guilty because his peers are already preparing for next semester's exams. Struggles to get good internships because grades/contacts not sufficient.

What's not to hate? 😅

The hate towards JGLS is genuine and well rooted because
- of the ground level arbitrary policies, being implemented by dictator admin.
- fancy LLM faculties with no experience working there just to pay off their LLM education loan and teaching via shit PPTs, and doing arbitrary evaluation and intentionally shitting on grades of students just to maintain their profile and "standards" of being a strict professor.
- overcrowded batches i.e. JGLS has as of more than just 1200+ law graduates coming with bare minimum jobs at hands, not every internship via contact gets converted into PPO. even Jindal people do 20-30 k jobs in tier 1 cities.
- genuine middle class but "general" category helpless but meritorious (who fail to clear CLAT despite drop year, and looted by clat coaching) being exploited by manipulating them with #1 ranking which has nothing to do with employment students get just research and publications, which is beneficial for faculty and not student. Not everyone comes from rich background stop idiotically and blindly following this stereotype, if you can then go and check the ground reality over there, more than 50% are from working class middle class family.
- untouched (touched only in policies) over drug, smoking, alcohol, hook ups culture which force already stressed people into life threatening addiction. But admin is only concerned with counting cash and making infrastructure to fool parents of next batch.

Jindal is hated because it’s not affordable for most of them here. There is no other reason. Many could be jealous of its success and global standing. When they compare with their own college, they might feel depressed. Better to stay away and focus on your own college or so called university.

It’s naked class hatred and jealously. Nothing else. Jindal charges expensive fees and does not implement caste reservation. Thus, they hate the fact that Jindal students are typically from elite, wealthy families and products of posh schools. What’s more, they secure internships and jobs at top-notch places: if not through the university than through connections. And so many Jindal students go abroad for higher studies, further igniting jealousy.

Interestingly, hordes of early NLSIU alumni send their kids to Jindal. This shows that once you reach the top lawyer of society you want to emulate this class. When you are outside, you want to spew venom against them.

people would see only 10% of students being placed but not see that the rest go abroad for dual degree or join family business or get a job through their connections. People would only see Jindal kids as rich brats (yes there are) but use it as a conclusion in wrong context. People see Jindal to rank higher in WQSRS and automatically conclude that they have bought it when it's literally based on research and publishing, academic reputation, global collaboration, employee reputation, etc. Bro, I understand the shit show and the infamous culture they have but how stereotypically blinded can y'all get when it come to good thing of Jgls?
