We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

βOh, she got a PPO because she slept with an associate.β
βOh, he got an LLM scholarship because he is a Mallu and the VC wrote him a good reco as he is also a Mallu.β
βHe canβt speak a word of English, but gets good internships because his dad is a politician.β
βShe is dating a senior guy because he helps her with studies.β
Literally, this is all you hear. Is it even possible to make genuine friends in law school? Because people get jealous and competitive about everything. Maybe better to attend meet-up events outside campus and make friends from elsewhere?
