I would like to switch to a law firm with a decent disputes practice so I can learn better things. The thing is I interned at some tier 2 and tier 3 firms and got exposure to IBC, arbitration and commercial litigation and want to work further in that field.
At the time of graduating the insurance role was safest for me so I went with it. Now it's also becoming a bottleneck because most small firms aren't even willing to pay me what I make at the company and also saying that I will have to start as a fresher.
I'm finding it increasingly hard to get even a callback from law firms and even the ones I had interned at are not hiring. Anyone have any advice on what I might be doing wrong with my applications and how you had gotten out of a similar situation?
