And it’s not just posh and elite people. Any upper middle class person from the GC category.
We have compromised meritocracy and excellence in the name of DEI.
In fact, children of NLSIU alumni law firm partners are doing this! Their parents were middle class before, but now they are wealthy and elite. So Jindal and study abroad for them.
NLUs are now dominated by lower-middle class and EWS students from small towns. Big demographic change from earlier generations. In fact, part of the tensions at NLSIU pertains to this: elitism-first Sudhir vs equity-first students.
You must know the Economist is a mouthpiece of neoliberal values, which are dying and will take the form of late capitalism and fascism. As it is, the The Economist, comes in nice fancy print, but it is not the least bit credible or unbiased. I say this as a corporate PE, GC, and Capital Markets & M&A Lawyer of 10+ PQE and a reader of society and economics.
