I’m a qualified Company Secretary and a Lawyer from a state university. I was fortunate to secure an assessment internship at a law firm, which later converted into a full-time role.
However, over the past 5 months, there has been significant attrition in the firm - almost everyone who joined with me has moved on. While I understand that movement is a part of the profession, the current environment has started to feel increasingly challenging (lack of seniors, micro-management, detrimental policies, etc) and I find myself a bit demotivated.
I’ve been actively exploring opportunities and have been cold-emailing HRs and Partners, but haven’t had much success so far. I also feel hesitant about resigning without another offer in hand, given practical constraints.
I understand that these things take time, but I would really appreciate any guidance, suggestions, or leads that anyone could offer.
