I apologise if this is a juvenile question but how much do 10th and 12th marks matter for internships/placements?

I have gotten mid 80s in both and have a good batch rank in a t1
You will be burned at a stake like a heretic , if you don’t have minimum 99 percent in board exams..
It does NOT matter…. Your law school grades, moot courts, publications will only matter
79% in 10th, 64% in 12th, Offer in 6th sem from Khaitan. Calm.
They don matter, only your batch rank at your college (UG) and our college name matters for placements and internships at all T1s.
They would matter if law doesn't work out and you decide to do MBA, which is advised by many folks at Legally India.
It sort of depends. If you count foreign law firm vac schemes as "internships" and training contracts as "placements", then yes, it plays a part. If you aren't thinking of foreign law firms at all, then I'd say chill.
I thought they got rid of it as a criterion? What if you're batch rank is in the top 5 in the top 3 nlu's, and boards is 75 ish?
I hope all your marksheets from Kindergarten right through to Class 12 are with you. They all matter.
Mid 80s is great dude. I’ve a mid 60s in 12th and got PPOs from Khaitan, CAM and Indus. School grades don’t matter in law firm recruitment, college grades do.
