If fees isn't an issue and you can pay NALSAR tuition through the foreign national quota, why the hell don't you just come back to the UK? For lad's sake mate, you will have the grades (should you achieve what you say you will) from school to get into some of the best UK unis! I mean - come on! What kind of madness is this? Throwing the equivalent of £60000 down the tube for a legal education in India when you literally have a British passport? What on earth is your conception of legal education? Do you think any law school in India, even NLS, let alone NALSAR (which is sliding down), matches up to the top law schools in Britain? Were you drunk/high when you wrote this? Or is this supposed to be some sort of a joke? Even if you wanted to practice in India, this is total madness, considering your circs. And if you really did want to practice in India considering what you have, then I really have nothing more to say to you. You aren't "committed to the hustle" as you claim, because you want mummy's cooking and daddy's car more than actual hard work. And frankly, if I were a British social services official and you had been under age, I would seriously have wanted to know if your parents know what they are doing and are fit to bring up a child. If it were a question of doing something like engineering in India, now, that would be a slightly different debate. In any case, stop this nonsense and start thinking about a gap year, what you'll do during it that'll help your UK universities' applications, apply and come back. Literally nothing - not even the UK economy in its current state - is justification for the laughably stupid thing you are contemplating - a waste of money on a massive scale.

If you have to manage fee status games with the UK unis because of having lived abroad for a long while, come back to the UK, eat some humble pie (the tone of your post is such that it sounds like it'll do you some good) and do some job, frankly any job (many people don't go to uni immediately after school, and if you are really "committed to the hustle" instead of having an armchair commitment, you should know that law firms in the UK like people with extensive non-legal work experience) for a couple of years and then go to uni there when you have lived there long enough to fall back into their domestic tuition bracket. Frankly, if I were your parents, I'd rather spend the money on a UK education for you on merit than messing around here - from what you said, they have the resources. I havev achieved a high 100 air in clat, and have been allotted to nlu jodhpur; however I find myself to be quite dissatisfied with this.

While I am entirely aware of nluj's calibre, stellar placements and mooting achievements, I've always been attached to the sheer prestige that schools such as nls and nalsar hold (which nluj simply does not have). I also incidentally happen to be a citizen of the UK, and am expecting around 98% in my board exams, thus making me eligible for the nalsar foreign national quota.

In my case, finances are not an issue (but parents do not believe in "quotas" And insist merit only), and I believe the hefty tuition is worth it for an institution of nalsar's stature. I'm committed to the hustle and am sure of my abilities to earn the money back.

My contention is whether nluj to nalsar is big enough of a jump to justify a 6x fees.
