Although I am a BJP supporter and detest the Congress and opposition, Prof Basu is spot on here. Nirmala Sitharaman is the worst finance minister ever and PM Modi is turning a blind eye to her failures, sorry to say.
We need reforms on a war footing: aggressive privatisation, lower income tax and LTCG, massive administrative and judicial reforms.
