We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.

In an ideal world, of course you should be able to seek help, but in reality, this is likely to entail a lot of gaslighting, nitpicking your every word, slut shaming and little to no recourse. Needless to say, I do not condone any of this, and wish the world wasn't this unfair.
By all means, get a rape kit test if you want to keep your options open, and most certainly get started on treatment to reduce the risk of STDs, but don't rush into filing a complaint unless you are certain. Solely to protect your peace, you may want to consider speaking to a good therapist about this.
Go to a hospital ASAP (DONT SHOWER OR CLEAN OR ANYTHING), get a "rape kit test" done. Then proceed. Also is this โฎโฎโฎ? This happened to me not too long ago.
Iโm a student at a โฎโฎโฎ based law college. During a drinking binge, my group met and got drunk with a bunch of seniors at the usual college drinking spot. I remember only flashes of the night after that and woke up in my room with the clothes on the next day, but very sore (after inter course type) and with random bruises on my body.
My roommate said we both came in after drinking, but I feel very weird about not remembering what happened and my friends were also sloshed and donโt remember much.
The seniors we drank with are known trouble makers, but have been good to our group, so I donโt want to accuse them without any proof. Iโm scared that something happened to me that night which I canโt remember given my bodyโs condition. What do I do?
